Our Story
The foundation of Canine Welfare Trust lies in a chance encounter at the gates of Chromewell Engineering Private Limited in Sanaswadi. A lone puppy, later named Julie was found abandoned outside our industrial premises. By providing her with food, shelter, and medical attention, we didn't just rescue a stray; we integrated a new sense of purpose into our corporate culture. Julie quickly became an integral part of the Chromewell family, serving as the catalyst for a much broader vision of animal advocacy.

Julie’s presence opened our eyes to the many other "Julies" roaming the streets of our industrial neighborhood. We realized that while we were building engineering parts , there was a silent community of strays in need of a different kind of architecture: a foundation of care. Inspired by the joy Julie brought to our workplace, Chromewell Engineering launched Canine Welfare Trust to look after the local dogs and cats.
What started as one dog’s rescue ripple-effected into a regional movement, dedicated to ensuring no animal in our vicinity had to face the world alone.

Vision & Mission
We have moved beyond simple feeding to provide a comprehensive safety net for our community’s strays, focusing on vital vaccinations, medical care, and humane population control through neutering programs.
Our mission is to uplift the lives of every four-legged resident, honoring the legacy of the little pup who started it all. At Canine Welfare, we believe that every stray deserves a chance to be healthy, protected, and loved—just like Julie!
